Keep the prayers flowing
Excellent prayerbook for all Christians! I found this book and I wanted to have it. I got it last week and I'm using it every early morning and evening. I love the chant arrangements of the psalms and the litanies. They're easy to play and memorize. And the translations are great. No Christian library should be without this book! I highly recommend it for spiritual growth.

REINVENTING THE FACTORY : PRODUCTIVITY BREAKTHROUGHS IN MANUFACTURING TODAY
Published in Hardcover by Free Press (November, 1989)
Authors: Roy Harmon and Leroy Peterson
Average review score:

A self help book for the factory
Now I get tired of everyone thinking that they know better or have a new formula for braking the bank. I also get tired of mamby pamby, touchy feely management books. So you can imagine what I thought of this book from the tittle.

Upon reading this book you find that it is not the fact that it is revolutionary, but that it points out the logic that was already there. It was simple to apply. We are using it where I work and the book helps in many ways. As the product quantity or type changes, all the production facilities are on wheels and we just move the work areas into different small sub-plants. There is no wasted resource and we even recovered some free space. Are parent company can not keep up with us as they are compartmentalized and static. However they stay out of our way, as we are the most profitable location.

Sarah
Published in Paperback by Fitzhenry & Whiteside Ltd (June, 2001)
Authors: Margueritte Harmon Bro and Lyn Cook
Average review score:

A Star in the Firmament
Sarah by Margueritte Harmon Bro opens as her family and friends mourn the untimely death of her father, who was killed in an accident. Sarah, age 11, is not weeping, but thinking. Readers are treated to her philosophical point of view throughout her growing up years as she helps her family cope with their grief, assists in the raising of her younger brother, and struggles to resolve the question of whether to pursue her gift in painting or music.

I first read this book as a child and have re-read my tattered copy every two or three years since. In flavor, it is not unlike "It's a Wonderful Life" as Sarah is the one her family leans on, and yet she has a strong pull toward a life of her own. Truly an excellent and unforgettable book. Sarah was first published in 1949. I'm delighted it's being published again so it may find a new audience.

A Seer Out of Season: The Life of Edgar Cayce
Published in Mass Market Paperback by St. Martin's Press (October, 1996)
Author: Harmon Hartzell Bro
Average review score:

It didn't change my life, but it changed the way I view life
The Bible,Battle for the Mind and A Seer out of Season are my 3 top lifetime books. A Seer out of Season is a sensitive portrayal of the life of a most remarkable, yet very ordinary, man. You get the full picture, together with warts. No over-sentimental, hero-worship here. Just a simple story, simply told - and simply full of wonder. I remember well the author quoting Cayce as saying, "I do nothing you can't do." A remarkable assertion when you see what Cayce did. And you will see what Cayce did if you read this book. It will change your view of self, life and eternity. Looking for a meaning to it all? Then have a read of this. You will find it cuts across all the boundaries and unites the mind and soul in a harmony you couldn't think existed. Journey into the new you and the new world of you with this book.
